Photo Ephemeris Web offers multiple map style to choose from. These map types are divided between two different map 'display modes', Default and Google.
All users have access to Default the map display mode. Google maps require an optional PRO subscription.
Selecting the Display Mode
You can toggle between Default and Google maps using the switch control at the top of the map:
(This switch is enabled only for Pro subscribers. See Where do I find satellite maps? for more background on this.)
Changing Map Style - Default Mode
The map style and layer control is located at the top left corner of the map:
Click the button to view the available map styles. For free users, the current selection is as shown:

Changing Map Style - Google Maps
If you have Google Maps selected, then again, you can change the map style using the controls at the top left of the map:
With the default street map selected, you can optionally enable the Terrain layer. When Satellite maps are selected, you can toggle Labels on or off.
