If you receive an error when searching for a place name, it is possible that the Google web service supporting this function is temporarily unavailable, or that Google is seeing an excessive number of requests from the network you're connected to and is blocking them.
In other cases, we have seen that some users have to restart their device in order for the search function to become available again.
If you have trouble searching for locations, please try the following steps:
- Connect to a different network and retry your search (e.g. if you're on WiFi, but have mobile data, try that instead, or vice versa)
- Try restarting your device
- Wait a while and retry
If search is still not working, please email us at email@example.com.
